What is NBCUniversal Peacock TV?

Calling all NBC fans, NBCUniversal's Peacock gives you free and cheap entertainment at your fingertips.

This first-ever NBC streaming service will give youLaw & Order, The Voice, and Weakest Link all at your demand.

You can get Peacock for free with ads and a limited amount of content, the $4.99 per month plan with ads but more content, or the $9.99 per month plan with zero ads and a wider selection content.

If you're an NBC fan, this one's for you.

How much does NBCUniversal Peacock cost?

It costs less than a penny, the price of a coffee, or the price of a sandwich. You decide.

NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service gives you the choice of three plans:

Peacock Free is, uh, free.

Peacock Premium has two different plans: $4.99 per month or $9.99 per month. You just have to decide how inconvenient commercial breaks are to your bingeing marathons.

Peacock is a streaming service similar to both Netflix and Hulu. Peacock has old shows and movies, as well as next-day access to shows that broadcasted the night before.

But we're still wondering why Peacock doesn't have The Masked Singer or Good Girls at all, and why there are only a few This Is Us episodes.

NBCUniversal Peacock will give you access to the NBC Sports channel, which features live sports talk programming like Pro Football Talk, The Dan Patrick Show, and The Rich Eisen Show.

So enjoy the latest NFL news with Pro Football Talk, exceptional interviews with Dan Patrick, along with sports, humor, and pop culture with Rich Eisen. And check out Peacock's first original sports talk show, Brother From Another with Holley and Smith.

Peacock also has a sports tab that allows you to watch all of these shows on-demand after they've aired. Here, you'll also find Premier League Highlights, Top Sports Stories, NFL, Figure Skating, and Sports Documentaries.

What is NBCUniversal Peacock Free?

If you decide to go for the free service, you'll get 40,000 hours of programming, including next-day access to current seasons of NBC shows like This is Us and The Voice.

No need to worry about seeing spoilers on social media. Just watch the lives of Mandy Moore and the triplets the following morning, and you won't need to worry about FOMO.

With Peacock Free, you can also watch Universal Pictures movies (like Evan Almighty), Saturday Night Live, NBC's daily news content, and select episodes of the app's exclusive content (like the new season of AP Bio).

For those who think of Michael Scott as their spirit animal, all nine seasons of The Office will be available on Peacock. You can get your Jim and Pam fix every day (now, who doesn't want that?).

And keep in mind, the free version has ads. But just how many ads are we talkin'?

More than when Peacock first launched, unfortunately. They have to make money somehow, right?

In our experience, when we watched the first episode of Psych when Peacock first debuted, there was only one ad in the hour-long episode. Now, there are five 30–45-second ads.

Needless to say, it's worth spending $5–10 per month to avoid those interruptions.

What is NBCUniversal Peacock Premium and Plus?

Peacock Premium with limited ads is $5, or if you don't want any interruptions at all, Peacock Plus is $10. You'll get the same amount of content with both, but the extra $5 will eliminate all ads during your bingeing marathons.

You'll get 60,000 hours of on-demand content with access to the full library of Peacock series and movie exclusives.

Peacock feeds news junkies and sports fanatics with NBC's live news and sports. You'll also get early access to late-night shows like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
